Corporate Associate

Opportunity for a junior Corporate Associate to join a leading London law firm with a highly regarded Corporate Practice.

The firm

My client is a leading law firm with an outstanding reputation in the private wealth and real estate sectors. Their client base includes real estate funds, property companies, developers, investors, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals.

The firm is recognised for delivering a partner-led service and has built a strong reputation for advising privately owned businesses and private clients across a variety of sectors.

Due to continued growth, the team is now looking to hire a Corporate Associate to their Legal 500 recognised Corporate team.

The opportunity

The corporate team advises on a broad range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private company investments, reorganisations, shareholder matters and general corporate advisory work.

They have particular expertise in advising on the corporate aspects of private client matters, including family investment companies, wealth and succession planning structures, complex restructurings and governance matters for owner-managed businesses, wealthy families and family offices.

The team also advises on share and asset sales/purchases, LLP matters and cross-border transactions.

The role will involve:

• Advising on a broad range of corporate transactions and advisory matters
• Assisting on mergers and acquisitions, investments and corporate restructurings
• Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation
• Advising private companies, business owners, investors and private clients
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider private wealth and real estate practices

Required

• UK qualified Solicitor with ideally 2 - 4 years' PQE
• Trained and retained at a leading UK or international law firm strongly preferred
• Excellent academics and strong drafting skills
