Monitoring Surveyor

Monitoring Surveyor\n\nLocation: Birmingham, Liverpool or Manchester area\nSalary: 30k- 35k\n\nOverview\n\nAn excellent opportunity for a Monitoring Surveyor/ Monitoring Technician to join an established surveying and monitoring team, working on a range of small to medium-scale monitoring projects across the civil engineering and construction sectors.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will install, maintain and decommission monitoring schemes on site, while also processing monitoring data to a high standard. The role will involve independent site work, office-based processing and supporting larger monitoring projects under guidance from senior team members.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Complete small to medium-scale monitoring projects independently\n\n * Set up monitoring instruments, record site data and support project delivery\n\n * Process monitoring results accurately and to client requirements\n\n * Maintain equipment and company vehicle standards\n\n * Follow health and safety procedures, including site inspections and risk assessments\n\n * Continue developing skills in monitoring, measured building surveying and laser scanning\n\nRequirements\n\n * 1+ years’ experience within monitoring or a closely related surveying role\n\n * Experience processing raw monitoring data\n\n * Practical knowledge of monitoring equipment and software\n\n * Previous experience with a Total Station\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * Willingness to travel, with occasional overnight stays or weekend work\n\n * Right to work in the UK\n\nPackage\n\n * Competitive salary depending on experience\n\n * Hybrid working arrangement\n\n * Professional development and training opportunities\n\nHow to Apply\n\nMGR Recruitment is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
