Press Brake Setter/Operator Location: Manchester Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (DOE) Hours: Day shift with an early finish on Friday Press Brake Setter/Operator – Manchester Actio Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established fabrication company based in Manchester. Our client is looking to add an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator to their skilled manufacturing team. The Role As a Press Brake Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to manufacture high-quality sheet metal components to engineering drawings and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities * Set and operate CNC press brake machines. * Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Select the correct tooling and carry out machine set-ups. * Produce components to the required quality standards and tolerances. * Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment. * Carry out routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organised. * Work safely and follow all company health and safety procedures. The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience setting and operating CNC press brakes. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Experience working within a sheet metal or fabrication environment. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. * Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
