Production Manager

This role leads a small manufacturing operation, overseeing production, planning, product development, quality, food safety, logistics, and continuous improvement to support business growth and customer satisfaction. Description · Lead the Manufacturing Division and develop a high-performing team. · Manage production planning, capacity and operational performance. · Drive product development, innovation and recipe standardisation. · Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, allergens, labelling and regulatory requirements. · Prepare the business for EHO, customer and BRCGS audits. · Manage suppliers, inventory and production planning. · Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics to deliver excellent customer service. · Drive cost reduction, labour productivity and waste improvement. · Develop KPIs, budgets and management reporting. · Promote Health & Safety and continuous improvement. Profile A successful Production Manager should have: Proven expertise in product management within manufacturing within the FMCG industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Solid understanding of production processes and operational efficiency. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations. Strong communication and collaboration skills.Job Offer A competitive salary ranging from £50,000 - £55,000.
