Tekla Project Designer / Draughtsperson\n\nLocation: London\nSalary: Up to £60,000 DOE\n\nOur client are looking to appoint an experienced Tekla Project Designer / Draughtsperson to join their growing team in London. Following several significant project awards, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and highly regarded specialist contractor delivering complex structural steel and architectural metalwork projects across the UK.\n\nWorking from their recently refurbished London office, you will play a key role within the design team, producing accurate Tekla models and detailed fabrication drawings while supporting projects from concept through to installation.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProduce accurate 3D Tekla models and fabrication drawings for structural steel and metalwork projects.\n\nInterpret and work from Structural Engineer and Architect drawings.\n\nLiaise with internal teams, subcontractors, fabricators, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.\n\nAssist in resolving design and detailing issues throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nEnsure drawings and models are produced to required project specifications and deadlines.\n\nSupport fabrication and installation processes with technical detailing expertise.\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum 3 years' experience in Tekla detailing within the structural steel or architectural metalwork sector.\n\nStrong understanding of steel fabrication and installation processes.\n\nAbility to work under pressure and manage demanding project programmes.\n\nCapable of working independently using initiative and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent communication and coordination abilities.\n\nMotivated individual with a willingness to learn, develop, and progress within the business.\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nSalary up to £60,000 depending on experience.\n\nOpportunity to work on high-profile and technically challenging projects.\n\nModern London office environment.\n\nLong-term career progression within a growing and successful business.\n\nFor further information on this opportunity, please contact Sharon O'Donnell, Steel and Metalwork Specialist
